Giveaway: 20 Mule Team Borax

All-Natural Detergent Booster with Odor Control 20 Mule Team® Borax increases your detergent's power and controls odors to give you fresh, clean laundry.

20 Mule Team® Borax is 100% natural, and 99.5% pure (there is about a half of 1% of naturally occurring trace minerals). Once removed from the ground it is washed, dried, and boxed for consumers.

In earlier times, borax was proclaimed to be a magical crystal that was used to aid digestion, keep milk sweet and even cure epilepsy. Common sense and modern technology have brought us better solutions to these and other problems, but 20 Mule Team Borax still has a place in your home.

20 Mule Team Borax comes from California where one of the world’s largest deposits was discovered in 1913.

Absolutely nothing is added. No phosphates, per-oxside, chlorine, or other additive chemicals.

Here's What I Think: I have always been curious about Borax. But it was one of those things that I didn't want to spend money on buying a whole box just to satisfy my curiosity. Well, come to find out - I have been missing out!! This stuff is awesome. I actually used it as a cleaner more than laundry use. I used it to clean by shower and that thing is glistening as I type! I did use it as a laundry booster by putting 1/2 cup in my washing machine and it really helped to freshen up the towels. I am looking forwarding to finding more ways to put Borax to work!

WIN IT! TWO Lucky Guide Readers will win a coupon for A Free Box of 20 Mule Team Borax.

I actually use Borax to make my own laundry detergent. I spend about $30 on everything that goes into it, and it last my family of 5 about 7-8 months. Love it!

My cleaning tips are to always use baking soda, it really does remove a lot. I also pour a cap full of pine-sol in my carpet cleaner with the cleaner or dish soap I use and it refreshes and makes the floors smell amazing as well as disinfects. Pet odors are gone in an instant!

My tip is to turn the shower on really hot for a couple of minutes before you clean the bathroom. The steam makes it really easy to clean-just wipe everything down with a soft cloth.
