Introducing the hottest new line from Cepia evolving from of Zhu Zhu Pets...Kung Zhu Pets! These warrior hamsters are far from being the cute and cuddly Zhu Zhu Pets that everyone fell in love with. But make no mistake, these ultra cool, tough pets will be a sure competition to the original Zhu Zhu Pets! With eight original characters split into two battling groups called Special Forces and Ninja Warriors, Kung Zhu Pet owners will have the thrill of training each character to transform fighting, battling warriors. Zhu Zhu Pets, the whimsical motorized hamsters that conquered during last year's holiday shopping season, are coming back strong in 2010. Really, really strong: Meet Kung Zhu Battle Hamsters, the militant hamster arm of Zhu Zhu, loaded with elements that appeal especially to boys.

The new line will feature Special Forces, Ninja Warriors, Rangers, and the Skull Tribe Battle Hamsters, along with armor/battle gear, vehicles, and training arenas.
Training arenas? Prior to their "training," you might mistake the Kung Zhu squad for a traditional Zhu Zhu Pet. They dart around, scurry from place to place, and coo and squeak based on the unique environment they encounter. But all that changes when the hamsters encounter the magical "Tablet of Zhu," a special training ground that transforms the Zhu Zhu Pets into Kung Zhu Special Forces or Ninja Warriors, ready to do battle against each other.

 The super fantastic and completely amazing people at MomSelect and Kung Zhu selected me to host a Kung Zhu Party! And luck would have it that the box arrived on the day of the kiddos' graduation! Boy did I have a surprise for them! The kids all loved the toys and had a blast playing with them. I was pleased to find everything very easy to assemble. Simple picture instructions accompany every single item, making it very fast to put it all together. I love the fact that everything can only go on ONE way, so you can't do it wrong. I also like the the Kung Zhu's work right out of the box - no additional batteries needed.  There are 8 different warriors, on four different teams. They meet in the Battle Area and battle it out for victory. It was awesome that each kid got to pick a different one to call their own, and then send them into the battle arena. On their website - http://www.kungzhu.com/ - you can read a bio for each of the Battle Hamsters and see some cool videos about the whole line of toys. What I especially like about these is that while you can get all the stuff to play with them, they also just work on the ground too. The totally random movements and sounds keep the kids occupied for quite a while! This was so much fun for the kids and the parents.
